REAR SPRING MOUNTING SHACKLE – PART #81719237
This mounting - #42 - is a hard rubber block with a short integral metal tube for the shackle bolt, and is located within the back end of the rear "chassis" frame tube on Flavia, 2000 and Fulvia cars.

These mountings are out-of-sight, are very likely to have to been in place since the day the car left the factory, and are starting to show up as an MOT failure item.  We now have an initial stock on the shelf, as we have had them remanufactured.

Cost: £25+ p&p a pair to members, £30 a pair to non-members.  UK inland p&p will be £3.50.  Payment details as above.

Suspension Parts.

Herewith a couple of photos of rubber bushes we have been remanufacturing for a while now.  Please enquire (non Consortium members) if you are in need of any of the items shown, as we may be able to sell you some if there is a temporary surplus.  All these bushes have been tried and tested, and indeed some are supplied to the Lancia restoration trade - with whose names you may be quite familiar...

ARB_bushes                          Spring_to_Wishbone_Buffers

Stabiliser bar bushes (Flavia and 2000)                                        Front wishbone to spring buffers (Flavia and 2000).

These are all made from vulcanised rubber, not polyurethane, as were the bushes fitted as O/E.  Changing bushes that have not been replaced within living memory is always an improvement, particularly in the case of 81603055:  these do a lot of work, and can become very hard and non-compliant.  It has been said that replacing the spring-to-wishbone buffers (always change both sides) can most noticeably improve a cars handling and ride.

Cars for Sale.

Flavia Vignale 1964. - for restoration.

"The car needed all cills on one side; these were made and partly welded in, but the rest of the floor pan etc. was not finished.  The car still starts and runs.  The brakes were rebuilt before storage, and it has a stainless steel exhaust.
Included are a pair of re-made rear leaf springs, other odds and sods, and a good hardtop.  The 'restorer' has lost interest, no work has been carried out for over 3 years, and inside storage has now been lost.  It would be a great shame to see this car deteriorate.
Any reasonable offer - unless you would like to finish the restoration for me?

Bonaldi Brake Servo - part # 81719997.

This unit was overhauled by JEM about 10 years ago, has been in the loft for at least 5 years, and has never been used since the re-build.  It is as fitted to Flavia 815 and 819, also (I think) Flaminia.
Caveat Emptor.

This is safety critical equipment.  The Consortium is not selling this servo as a unit that may be fitted immediately andBonaldi servo 2 expected to work perfectly.  In view of the time in storage it will be necessary to carry out tests to prove, prior to installation and use, that it works without fault.  The buyer will be expected to indemnify the Consortium at the time of purchase. £75 + p&p.  Contact at top of page.

Fulvia clutch release bearings.

Fulvia clutch release bearing  We have somehow acquired 4 of these rogue clutch release bearings - part # 82277893 - suitable for the S2 and  S3 Fulvia.  In fact this mistake is easily made as they are almost identical to the clutch release bearing for the  2000, even at a prolonged look.

Only if placed side-by-side can one perceive that they are about 5% smaller, and they definitely don't fit a  2000.  For the record, the  differences are:-

 Internal sleeve i/d of 2000 one is 32mm, Fulvia one 30mm., bearing face i/d of 2000 = 40 against 36 for Fulvia;  overall length 45 vs  42mm.

Price will be £20 each + p&p.  Contact as at the top of the page.

A pair of phosphor bronze bushes.
These have been kicking around for ages.  The approx. dimensions are: length 30 mm., internal diameter 28.4 mm., and external    diameter 34 mm.
They don't seem to be for Flavia or 2000; also they have "Lancia" etched onto the outer surface, which is often seen on parts for earlier cars.
If you recognise them, and need to acquire them, then contact as above.  £15 + p&p.
